Etcetera Edutainment, including its affiliates (“Simcoach Games” and “Simcoach”), collects, stores, and uses your personal information as a data controller in connection with and in order to provide and develop Simcoach’s products, mobile applications, services, and websites (together “Services”) according to this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”).

Simcoach Games collects visitor data and analyzes traffic on Simcoach’s websites. This information helps to better understand client interests and helps make improvements. What information does Simcoach Games collect?

Simcoach collects information from visitors who sign up (opt-in) to receive email from Simcoach Games.

Simcoach collects information from visitors or users who submit forms or create accounts on Simcoach’s contact page (regarding general information, playtesting, sales and/or careers), the Simcoach Skill Arcade page, or any of Simcoach’s mobile application. By completing any forms or registrations on Simcoach’s contact pages or mobile applications you are signifying that you approve of Simcoach’s TERMS & CONDITIONS as well as being contacted by representatives from Simcoach Games. You may retract your contact information by submitting an email with the subject line “Remove my contact information.” Simcoach will need sufficient information from you to establish your identity and to verify your access request, and also to assist us in handling your request.

Simcoach Games uses your information to perform its own analytics and to enable analytics provided by third parties. We use analytical information for supporting business analysis and operations, business intelligence, product development, improving products and services, personalizing content, providing advertising, and making recommendations. Simcoach Games also uses Google Analytics and Advertiser Features including Demographics and Interest reports, Remarketing, GDN Impression Reporting, and DoubleClick Campaign Manager integration. Do we use cookies?

When you visit Simcoach’s websites, the pages that you look at, and a short text file called a cookie, are downloaded to your computer. A cookie is used to store small amounts of information. This information is collected for traffic analysis only. The cookie does not contain personal details. Depending on the browser you use, you can set your preferences to block or refuse cookies and/or to notify you before they are placed.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

Personal data may be disclosed to third parties including third parties located outside the European Union or the European Economic Area in accordance with applicable legislation and this Privacy Policy.

Simcoach Games may use third parties to collect and process personal data on Simcoach’s behalf and according to Simcoach’s instructions. Simcoach Games is not liable for the acts and omissions of these third parties, except as provided by mandatory law.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

Simcoach’s websites contain links to other websites that have separate and independent privacy policies. Simcoach Games has no control over the content and activities of these linked sites. Nevertheless, we want to protect our site’s integrity and we welcome any feedback about these sites.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Simcoach Games is in compliance with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Simcoach does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. Simcoach’s websites, products, and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. If Simcoach learns that Simcoach has inadvertently gathered personal data from children under 13 years of age, Simcoach will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such personal data from Simcoach’s records.

Simcoach understands the need to provide extra privacy protections to users who are children. To that end, features and services such as social networking plug-ins, behaviorally targeted advertising, and collection of data for the purpose of building user profiles are not available to users under 13. Simcoach also does not allow our third-party partners who engage in such practices to access personally identifiable data from users under 13.

Simcoach Games and its partners do collect non-personally identifiable data from children. This includes, for example, the collection of IP-based geolocation data to ensure that the product, service, or features served to comply with applicable laws of that nation.

Simcoach Games and its partners also collect data to assess general information about the use of products, such as the number of visitors to our sites and services and which sections of a site or service are popular. Simcoach also uses this data to provide contextually-relevant advertising to users, to prevent users from seeing the same ad repeatedly, and to allow users to personalize their experience on the site or service (for example, to save a high score in a game). Simcoach and its partners may also use cookies, pixels, hardware-based identifiers, Operating System-based identifiers, and software-set identifiers, to manage and measure the performance of advertising.

Please note that Simcoach’s partners may have their own policies related to tracking technologies for analytics and ad-serving purposes. While Simcoach requires that companies comply with Simcoach’s privacy policy before Simcoach allows those companies to access our sites and services, Simcoach does not actually control third-party data collection and use.
